Top Three Upcoming Token Launches
By Aidan Carney Skytt Updated September 17, 2025

Summary
- Abstract Token will be airdropped to Pudgy Penguins holders and users of Abstract Chain.
- OpenSea remains the top NFT marketplace, and they have a coin likely coming out at the end of this year.
- Ink Chain will be a competitor to Base, with Ink token as its native coin.
Current Landscape
Recent token launches have been underwhelming, to say the least. In previous cycles, bidding on an ICO was an exciting and profitable experience. Today, it’s often just a way to become insider exit liquidity. But it doesn’t have to be this way if you pick the right tokens. Here are three TGEs worth watching.
Abstract Token
Abstract Token will be the native currency of Abstract Chain, the creator blockchain developed by Igloo Inc. and Luca Netz. Igloo Inc. also created Pudgy Penguins and conducted the PENGU airdrop for its community. The PENGU airdrop was the 10th largest in history, and PENGU’s price is currently approaching its all-time highs.
Abstract Token will be airdropped to Pudgy Penguins holders and users of Abstract Chain. Many members of the Pudgy community are farming Abstract points in hopes of receiving a large allocation. Given how big the PENGU airdrop was, I expect Abstract Token to be of comparable size.
OpenSea
NFTs are coming back, and top projects are trending toward all-time highs. OpenSea remains the top NFT marketplace, and they have a coin likely coming out at the end of this year. You can already earn XP to increase your airdrop size, and some blue-chip NFT projects are getting extra allocations. I think this token will run as mainstream NFT interest returns.
Ink
Kraken is launching a Layer 2 on Optimism to provide DeFi features to their CEX customers. Ink Chain will be a competitor to Base, with Ink token as its native coin. Loyal Kraken users will probably get a good airdrop. Early tokens built on Ink will likely run, similar to how early Base tokens have done well.
Bonus: BIRB
Moonbirds recently recrossed their mint price after being acquired by Spencer from Orange Cap Ventures (formerly Spencer Ventures). While no Moonbird token has been officially confirmed, Spencer has previously talked about the importance of NFT projects launching tokens. They will likely launch BIRB at some point, and based on Spencer’s track record, I think it will be one for the record books.

While most token launches are anticlimactic at best and rugs at worst, there are still ICOs worth bidding on. Check out our top 50 list to see what else we like and make sure you never miss a good ICO.
