Beluga’s take

Phantom’s UI feels polished and fast; the extension loads instantly and the mobile app mirrors the same clean design, making token swaps and NFT browsing a breeze. Transaction fees are transparent, and the built‑in swap aggregator usually finds good rates without needing a separate DEX aggregator.

The biggest pain point is the occasional sync lag when switching networks, especially on the newer EVM chains, which can cause failed transactions that need a manual retry. Customer support response times can be slow during high‑traffic periods, and the lack of a native token means no fee rebates or staking incentives.

Recent updates added a native perps interface and expanded cross‑chain support to include BSC and Conflux, which has reduced the need for external bridges. However, the roadmap for deeper DeFi integrations feels stagnant, and the team has yet to roll out a robust analytics dashboard that power users have been asking for.
